Thomas Hansen's Ticket To Hell

This one just popped up in my subscription box from Martin Ehrenberger's YouTube page. This video titled "Ticket To Hellfeatures Thomas Hansen and is very unique to say the less.

Enjoy

New Homewood Site, New Decks

Justin Rodriguez, owner of Homewood Fingerboards, has lunched a new website HomewoodFB.com.

I have been trying to get my hands on a Homewood for a good while now (being that I live a little over an hour away I though it would easier.) Head over to Homewood FB right now and you can pick yourself up one of Justin's many molds. In stock right now are the M1, M2, M4, M5, M7, M8 & M9 shapes.

Also available is No Comply's Foamy Greatness and even Homewoods own Smoketstack T-Shirt as seen on Justin himself. The shirt is available in Red or Blue.

And as a bonus I have learned that in the works there will be split ply's and graphic decks available soon!

Flaked Edition Substance Wheels

Dennie "Flaki" Flagmeyer has always been known to be a fingerboard pioneer ever since he started Shortwood (now known as Flaked). This is the first collaboration between Flaked/Substance since Flaki joined Substance Wheels back at the Fast Fingers. These German made wheels have some unique characteristics that set them apart from previous versions of Substance Wheels. These are the first white wheels available in the THC material. The wheels feature a centralized twin bearing design with a new "street shape" that gives them a nice clean look!

The picture shows them on a set of Y-Trucks but since the bearings are centralized I'm sure they work for Blackriver Trucks as well. I'll keep you guys updated when more info is released on these. I defiantly need to try to get my hands on a set of these along with one of those *Flaked Junt* graphic decks (:

EDIT: New picture released

Tuesdays With Todd (6-28-11)

Todd makes a comeback once again. For those of you who don't know Todd Cuzzort is the owner of No Comply Distribution.

NCD is home to some of the best decks, best wheels and best grip in the game. You can also hit up NoComplyFingerboards.com for all your tuning needs. Just make sure you keep checking the website, there are some big updates coming real soon!

FingerSkateSelective's Fingerboard News (6-28-11)

New episode of FSS' Fingerboard News. This is one of his "Shout Out Weeks" so there is no real news this time but maybe you'll heard your name.

Loz At The Harrics

This video popped up in my subscription box from Harald Schön AKA The Dirty Harry. Harry has always been so sick with his edits and this one doesn't disappoint. The video features Yellowood/Y Trucks/Oak Wheels team rider Goncalo ''Loz'' Lopes from Portugal. He is currently staying Germany so it's nice to see him stop The Harrics and show us a thing or two.

Fingerboarding With Elias Assmuth

This video of Elias Assmuth comes from French artist Alexis Milant. Milant has been in the FB video scene for a while since he first introduced us to 'Opus 0' back in 2006. This may be a a video of Blackriver's own Elias Assmuth but Milant is a pretty decent fingerboarder himself being part of the Close-Up Fingerskate team.

And in case you missed it Opus 0

Flatface G13's Back In Stock

These have been out of stock for a while now so head over to FlatfaceFingerboards.com right now to pick up the latest deck design from the mind of Mike Schneider. The G13 shape was based off the G12 deep shape but with a twist. It's a 5 ply like most decks out but it is 30.5 mm for those who like the wider feel.

I prefer 29mm but I would't mind trying one of these out for myself!

Yellowood / Y-Trucks Restock

Head over to YellowoodStore.com right now for a restock. There are still a lot of decks in stock including many of the graphic boards!

Also according to the Y-Trucks facebook page they should have a restock up really really soon. I'm not sure if it's just the Blue and Orange trucks or a full restock but either way make sure you keep checking back to YTrucks.com to catch it.

Here is a sneak peak of the Orange trucks...

FlatFace Centralized Dual Bearing Wheels

Check out the new colors for Flatface's centralized dual bearing wheels. They are now available in White, Black, Tan and Blue. With the bearings being centralized they can only be used for Blackriver or Y Trucks*. Pick yours up today at FlatfaceFingerboards.com. They will run you $60 a pop but you can never go wrong with FlatFace.

*I guess if it comes down to it you could also use shaped Tech Deck trucks or China wides.

In case you where wondering I'm a big fan of colored wheels. Don't get me wrong a nice clean pair of whites can go with anything but I like to mix things up every once in a while.

234 Kickflips... In A Row!

I know this next post is a little old but that doesn't take away from what both these guys can do. A lot of you probably have seen Mike Schneider's video of 110 Kickflips in a row...

I'm not going to hate, but my man Dax Browne takes it to whole other level!

TWICE!

Expect a lot more videos from Dax in the future. I'm my opinion he is one of the best in the game right now! With sponsors like Wangster Decks, Nollie Wheels and FingerSkateSelective he is showing no signs of slowing down. Make sure you check out his YouTube page youtube.com/STEEZYFSS.

Fingerboard Love

I came across this video a few weeks ago and I thought I should share it. It's a short documentary directed by Jarrod Hine (YouTube name slippedknot99) and Mike Meza titled "FingerBoard Love".

I just wish this was a full length video

Start It Off

For my very first post I want to start things off right. This clip of Lance Mountain is taken from the Powell Peralta 1985 skate video "Future Primitive". Many people believe this to be the earliest recorded fingerboard footage. The board is said to be made out of cardboard, coffee stirrers and the wheels/axles of a Hot Wheels car!
